After evaluating Coeclerici's high technological and organizational standards for safety, health and environmental protection, RINA (Italian Classification Society) has certified that the Floating Transfer Station "Bulk Irony" is compliant with the UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 standard for environmental management.

"Bulkwayuù" and "Bulk Irony" operations have been certified by RINA as compliant with UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 standards and the IMO BLU Code. The "Bulkwayuù" is the first terminal in Venezuela to have received this certification.

In 2009, the Group's company Terminal Offshore Piombino SpA, owner of the "Bulk Irony" Floating Transfer Station, became the second shipping company in Italy to be granted the prestigious EMAS registration from the Ecolabel Committee of Rome.

In 2011-2012 the two twin units "Bulk Zambesi" and "Bulk Limpopo", built by Coeclerici to perform transshipment operations in Beira, Mozambique, were designed in keeping with the highest environmental protection requirements and certified by major international organizations including IMO, MARPOL, IOPP and ISPP.

Besides reducing environmental impact and preventing occupational hazards through large investments in technology and equipment maintenance, the Group is also strongly committed to training and integrating the local workforce in the countries where it is present. The professional expertise and skill of local emplyees grows thanks to close, continuous relations with Coeclerici Group managers and specialized technicians. Know-how transfer and the specialized training courses usually provided by Coeclerici to local employees help them build a concrete foundation for their professional carriers and ensure them a higher standard of living inthe future.

In 2014, with the goal of maintaining and improving the high standard in health and safety, Coeclerici has established the HSE-Q department, in charge for health, safety, quality and environment. During the same year, the Group set up the process to obtain the BS OHSAS 18001:07 certification, which has been granted to the Group's companies Coeclerici SpA and Coeclerici Mozambico SpA at the beginning of 2015.

In 2016 the certification BS OHSAS 18001:07 was also granted to the Group Indonesian companies PT Pelayaran Logistik Konversi Indonesia and PT Asian Bulk Logistics and their owned vessels.
